Glittermelon
Watermelon comes into season in early to mid-summer, so it makes sense to turn it into a refreshing summer cocktail. @ramithemixologist created the perfect drinking vessel for a watermelon experience with CHOYA!
INGREDIENTS:
- 0.75 oz The CHOYA Single Year
- 1.5 oz Vodka
- 1.25 oz Watermelon Juice
- 0.25 oz Mint Syrup
- Rose gold glitter
As Yuzu Wish…
@spiritedshaker made this awesome refreshing cocktail with CHOYA in warm weather. The combination of Yuzu, Passion fruit, and Lime creates a perfect balance of sweet, tart, and tangy flavors that are perfect for a hot summer day!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 oz CHOYA Yuzu
- 1.5 oz Whisky
- 0.75 oz Lime Juice
- 0.75 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
- 3 Dashes Vanilla Bitters
Red Flag
Shiso is an aromatic herb that is often used with Ume fruit. @spiritedshaker has concocted a stunning 4th of July cocktail featuring this beautiful red gem. Whether or not you celebrate U.S. Independent Day, get ready for an extraordinary flavor experience with The CHOYA Natural Shiso!
INGREDIENTS:
- 0.75 oz CHOYA Natural Shiso
- 1.5 oz White Rum
- 0.5 oz Black Pepper & Beet Syrup*
- 0.75 oz Lime Juice
* Black Pepper & Beet Syrup
- 0.75 cup fresh 100% beet juice
- 0.25 cup water
- 0.5 cup cane sugar
- 2tbs black peppercorns
In a small saucepan, combine the peppercorns with the beet juice and water, and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat, cover, and let it sit for 30 minutes. Fine strain into a bottle or jar. Add the sugar, cover, and shake gently until dissolved. Keep refrigerated.
Japanese Sangria
The Japanese Sangria is an another cocktail with Shiso and a perfect blend of Japanese ingredients that are sure to impress. In recent years, Shiso has become more easily available throughout the year through greenhouse cultivation, but its peak season is summer from June to September.
@ramithemixologist used a shiso leaf as a beautiful garnish with Japanese ingredients including CHOYA Yuzu.

- 0.75 oz CHOYA Yuzu
- 1 oz Shochu
- 3 oz Sake Junmai
- 0.5 oz Ginger Syrup
- Small Cubes of White Peach
- 1 Shiso Leaf
